The Royal Opera House is one of the world’s leading performing arts venues. Located in London’s Covent Garden, it’s the home of The Royal Opera and The Royal Ballet.
TwoSheds was engaged by the agency Milknosugar to design and produce two versions of The Royal Opera House’s annual review, as PDFs. The main review was to feature embedded content, such as video footage showcasing performance highlights and behind-the-scenes activities. The shorter version included text and images only.
Working to a tight deadline, and following The Royal Opera House’s own design guidelines, we drew on its extensive (and quite stunning) library of photography to juxtapose performance stills with narrative copy, creating a visual feast befitting the performers on display.
